Unless physician or therapist prescribes otherwise, twice a day:
Dog 10 - 15 drops
Cat 5 - 10 drops
1 ml = 20 drops
Shake well before use.
If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, it is sufficient once a day or once every 2 days. Then give the maximum dose of one day. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but reaction can not last longer.
In case of improvement, a maintenance dose can be transferred. This is usually half the indicated dosage on the package. When dosing this product, look carefully at the reaction of the animal. In the beginning a higher dose may be required, this product can be given safely in a double dose. Gradually decrease the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.
Some animals may experience a short-term worsening or otherwise react violently at the start of treatment. In the event of a severe increase in dosage, halving or temporarily stopping and afterwards gradually build up again.
Give this product with a plastic syringe directly in the mouth or mouth, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not simultaneously with a meal because the product works better when it is absorbed by the clean oral mucosa. If the animal does not like this product, the drops can be given on a small piece of goodies. If the cat does not accept the drops, put the drops on a hot spoon and let the alcohol evaporate from the product. Then dilute it with some water or milk with a syringe directly in the mouth. The drops can also be applied to the top of the paw, check that the cat is licking the drops of the paw.
Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If you improve, continue to administer this product for several days. With long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.
This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. In this way the 'stimulus' can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.
