Description:
This bit is made of solid Cuprigan with stainless steel rings. Cuprigan is an alloy consisting of 89% copper, 7% aluminum, 3% iron and 1% zinc. The oxidation process of the material gives a pleasant smell and taste. The anatomical design follows the shape of the horse's mouth, creating a soft and even pressure distribution. The combination of the design and the unique composition of Cuprigan stimulates the chewing process and the production of saliva, which creates a fine connection with the sensitive horse's mouth. The rising scissors with ring are slightly outwards, which ensures optimum freedom for the horse's head. The bit has a sharp impact on the mouth.

Product Features:
A Pelham bit can be used with Pelham straps and single reins as well as with double reins. The bit is suitable for strong and eager horses. The leverage makes it easier to set the horse deep, the longer the pincers, the sharper the effect. The mouthpiece of a single broken snaffle hinges at one point. It acts on the tongue, layers, corners of the mouth and sometimes on the palate of the horse. When a rein aid is given, the bit takes on a V-shape. Because this mouthpiece has only one hinge point, the tongue lies more freely than with, for example, a double broken bit.
